The London Cremation Company supports local Charities
We’re incredibly proud to announce that we have donated a total of £210,000 to 24 charities across the communities we serve. These donations have been made possible through our Charitable Metal Recycling Scheme, which enables metals recovered following cremations to be recycled, with the proceeds supporting charitable causes nominated by our teams across all of our sites.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to all the families who have allowed metals to be recycled for this cause. Their generosity has made these donations possible and, in turn, helped support causes making a real difference to individuals, families and communities.
Each charity was nominated by one of our crematoria, making the donations particularly meaningful to the teams who chose the organisations they want to support. The charities represent a wide range of important causes, from supporting families through pregnancy after loss to providing vital support for people living with motor neurone disease, grief and bereavement, dementia, cancer and many more.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be launching a new series in the news and notices section of our website, featuring each of the organisations we have supported. We’ll be sharing more about the incredible work they do, the people and communities they support, and how these donations will help make a difference.
