The London Cremation Company supports local Charities

Each year The London Cremation Company supports local charities as part of its Metal Recycling Scheme.

In the year to 31st March 2024 we donated a total of £103,494.

We use the scheme as a vehicle to support as many local charities as possible, as the proceeds are derived from the communities, following the passing of their loved ones. Our clients are made aware that they may donate any metals recovered from the cremation process to the scheme.

With the consent of families, metals recovered from the cremation process are cleaned, valued and sold to be recycled. The scheme uses a specialist firm, carefully selected for this sensitive procedure.

The proceeds are then donated to charities and our staff are involved in the selection process. The charities we select are linked to people, such as hospices, care homes and the homeless.
