We were delighted to support the MND Association Mid-Kent Branch, nominated by our Garden of England team through our Charitable Metal Recycling Scheme.
The Mid-Kent Branch is part of a nationwide network providing local support to people living with motor neurone disease, as well as their families and carers. Run entirely by volunteers, the Branch provides advice, information and a listening ear, alongside its important Peer Support Groups.
These groups give people living with MND, carers and bereaved carers the opportunity to connect with others who understand their experiences, enjoy social activities and access complementary therapies. For many, the groups provide a vital sense of community, with some describing them as a “lifeline.”
Our donation will help the Mid-Kent Branch continue funding these important groups and supporting people and families affected by MND.
