On Wednesday 1st July, LCC colleagues came together for our second Away Day.
A brilliant chance to connect, share updates and celebrate the people who make our organisation what it is.
We heard engaging presentations from Steve Gant, Adanta Anderson and Angela Stanley, covering business updates, future plans and developments across The LCC. We were also pleased to welcome Miles Starling from Fortress Wealth Partnership, who delivered an informative pensions session to help colleagues plan confidently for the future.
A highlight of the day was hearing from Louise Knowlden, Christopher Phillimore‑Farden, Peter Beeley and Ian Harman, who shared insights on memorials, environmental sustainability and their team ambitions and objectives, truly showcasing the passion and depth of expertise across our teams.
With the sun shining, colleagues enjoyed lunch on the terrace before taking part in a lively game of The Betrayers hosted by Red Cactus Events, followed by networking drinks to reconnect and build new relationships across locations.
A huge thank you to all our team members,30 Euston Square, Red Cactus Events, and all who contributed to making the day such a success — and a special thanks to Natalie Le Mare for capturing it so brilliantly.
Most of all, the day highlighted what truly makes The LCC special — our people. Their energy, insight and commitment continue to shape who we are and where we’re going, and bringing everyone together reminded us just how valuable that connection is.
