Memorials
Families are often unsure what choice to make about the final resting place of the cremated remains of their family member. We’ve many options available at Golders Green and we hope that one of them might align with your personal thoughts and wishes. We know that when your sense of loss is keenest, it needs to be expressed, so to be able to visit a personal memorial and spend quiet time in thought, can be a great comfort to those grieving.
You’re welcome to visit the Memorial Gardens and the Chapel of Memory at any time during the hours when the crematorium is open. However, anyone wishing to visit the memorials of Sigmund Freud, Anna Pavlova or Bram Stoker in the Columbaria, please note that visits are by appointment only, between 10.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Please contact our office to book.
Making your choice of memorial
We’re proud to have a very broad range of memorial options at Golders Green, which are enhanced by our beautiful buildings and surroundings. From trees, bushes and markers in our stunning gardens, to niches in the Columbaria and wall tablets in various locations across the site. We also offer entries into our Book of Remembrance and memorial options in our Jewish Shrine of Remembrance.
